Ashley Guske
Studio Owner/Director

Ashley is the owner and director of Dance Alliance. She also teaches many classes at the studio. Ashley has been dancing since she could walk. She won over 50 gold, platinum, and double platinum medals in various national competitions. She attended Utah Valley University majoring in Dance Education. While at UVU Ashley performed with two dance companies: Synergy Modern Company and Mosaic Hip Hop Company. She previously danced for the Newbury Park High School Varsity Dance Team, was the dance team captain, and now continues to advance her dance technique by attending professional classes in Los Angeles. Ashley also attends dance teacher summits, networks with other studio directors and teachers, and is continually looking for ways to improve Dance Alliance. Ashley is skilled in ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, tumbling and contemporary, but mostly teaching!

Jessica Eubank
Elite Director/ Instructor

Jess has been dancing for 20+ years and was born and raised in Camarillo, CA. Jess has worked with some of the best in the industry such as Robert Roldan and Mandy Moore. She has also worked with CBS on their popular show Big Bang Theory. Jess has taught classes at all ages and all levels for many years. She has also worked as an assistant too choreographer, Elizabeth Petrin and was a coach for Newbury Park High School Dance Team. Along with teaching at Dance Alliance, Jess holds a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies from CSUCI and is currently a physical education instructor at Oxnard High School. Prior to this, Jess spent many years as an instructor and dance team director at Rancho Campana High School. She also has her Masters degree in Secondary education. Jess has won several Judge’s Choice awards for her choreography at regional and national competitions with our Dance Alliance Elite team. Jess is our Elite team Director where she wears many hats such as coordinating competitions, choreographing pieces, communicate with parents to name a few. She has been with DA for about 15 years now and is so excited to continue training our young dancers!

Mia Clark
Instructor

Mia Clark is a dancer and choreographer, from Newbury Park, California, who has trained in dance for 20+ years. She began her training at Bobbie’s School of Performing Arts and eventually joined her high school’s dance team. She continued her dance studies at California State University, Long Beach where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Mia specializes in modern, contemporary, hip hop, and jazz, but has trained in ballet and tap as well. She has worked with well-known choreographers like Colleen Dunagan, Andrew Vaca, Brenna Monroe-Cook teaching her “Sphinx” an excerpt of The Winged by José Limón, Mackenzie Martin, Azuki Umeda, Nancy Rivera, Scotty Nguyen, Mandy Korpinen, Elizabeth Petrin, Chad McCall, and Will Loftis. Nancy Rivera included Mia in two of her BlatinX Dance Festival works and a concept video titled Binding Perceptions. Mia is training in Geometry Contemporary Dance Company, directed by Mackenzie Martin, and has performed with the company at World of Dance. She has coached a high school dance team and is one of the three Elite coaches at Dance Alliance of Camarillo. Mia has always been passionate about creativity and fun in dance and hopes to continue to bring these qualities to the spaces and students she teaches.

Shayli Voyles
Instructor

Shayli began dancing at the age of 9 and has trained in various styles such as jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, ballet, pointe, hip hop and tumbling. Shayli was on The Dance Company’s competitive team for 6 years. She has also been a teacher’s assistant in classes and summer camps at TDC for 4 years with children ages two to eight. In addition to her training, Shayli was chosen to join TDC’s Leadership Program which required her to set a good example for younger dancers to look up to. Shayli’s dancing continued with Rancho Campana High School, where she held Officer positions with the team all 3 years. She became one of the seven girls to form the high school’s competitive dance team which won two national titles their first year. Shayli is really looking forward to the opportunity to work with younger dancers. She found it is something she is passionate about and finds joy in watching young dancers grow. Shayli is going into her third year teaching at Dance Alliance and is excited to train our young dancers!

Madison Pinherio
Instructor

Madison has been dancing since the age of 5. She is trained in various dance styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. She danced competitively for 9 years and won many awards in both regional and national dance competitions. She continued pursuing her dance career as both a member of the California Lutheran University Dance Team and their costume director. Madison recently graduated from CLU with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Educational Studies and a minor in Spanish and is currently pursuing her teaching credential at Cal State University Channel Islands. Madison has been teaching dance for over 6 years with her most recent role as the co-director of the children’s program at another studio in Southern California where she created award winning competition pieces and solos. Madison has been invited to choreograph and perform her own pieces at local and regional dance showcases. Madison is excited to be part of the teaching staff at Dance Alliance where she can continue to share her love and passion of dance.

Bella Murphree
Instructor

Bella began dancing at a very young age, and has been pursuing her passion for 19 years. She danced competitively with a local studio during her high school years winning many titles such as top elite studio, and best new groups. She was a captain of the Newbury Park Dance Team her junior and senior year. Her sophomore year the team won national titles in all divisions including lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and novelty. Towards the end of her high school career with her senior solo she won the regional title at one of the USA competitions. Also during her senior year she was nominated for student of the month, and received the award on the Laker’s basketball court for outstanding academic achievements. She has learned from many influential choreographers such as Robert Roldan, Will Loftis, Talia Favia, Andrew Winghart, Denise Wall, Mandy Moore and many more! She just recently graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree is Psychological and brain sciences and a minor in clinical neurology. She now aspires to attend Chapman University attending Physician Assistant School. Bella is one of the 3 Elite coaches here at Dance Alliance and is looking forward to year 5!

Jayme Smarinsky
Instructor

Jayme Smarinsky has been dancing since the age of 3. She trained in Chinese traditional dance and eventually made her way to loving numerous of other styles. She has trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and much more. She joined the Rancho Campana High School’s competitive dance team in 2020 where she eventually became team captain her senior year. Jayme also was a member of our ELITE company for two years and has assisted many classes along the way. She has won numerous regional and national awards on both teams. Jayme is currently attending Cal Lutheran University where she continues her dance education. We are so excited to have Jayme on the other side of classes now teaching!

Lola Day
Instructor

Lola has been passionate about dance since the age of five. She has trained extensively in a variety of styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acro, and musical theater. Dedicated to growing both as a dancer and instructor, Lola is currently a member of the Dance Alliance Elite Team and varsity dance team member at Newbury Park High School. She has also trained at prestigious programs such as the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Joffrey Ballet intensives.

Shalynne Armstrong
Instructor

Shalynne Armstrong trained at Retter’s Academy of Dance as a Rhythm Machine Company and Dancer’s Bridge Member in Los Angeles. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pace University in New York City with a BFA in Commercial Dance and Minor in Arts & Entertainment Management.

Some of her performance credits include Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans, commercials for VROOM & TikTok, music videos Shawn Amos “Ain’t Gonna Name Names”, Rich Brian “100 Degrees”, & Pavel Kazarian “Pandora” which appeared at Rio WebFest & Divulge Dancers’ Film Festival, Corps de Ballet in Pacific Ballet Dance Theatre and Tampa City Ballet, Crown City Theater Company’s “Nosferatu”, and many other live stage performances, site specific work, devised theater, short films, television, immersive events, and print ads & artworks.

Shalynne’s years of being a student, performer, and teacher has provided her with a diversity of expertise. She looks forward to sharing the art of dance with you!

Gianna Bates
Instructor

Gianna has been a dedicated member of Dance Alliance for the last 13 years, and has been dancing since the age of 3. She is trained in a wide variety of styles including ballet/pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, tap, ballroom, and hip hop. Gianna has been a part of DA Elite for the last 10 years, and spent 2 years on the Rancho Campana High School Dance Team as an officer/ dance captain. She has competed at many competitions throughout Southern California, and has taken countless master classes to continue her growth as both a dancer and instructor. Her greatest passion lies in teaching and mentoring younger dancers, and she can’t wait to continue her 3rd year of teaching at DA!!

Brandon Maxwell
Instructor

Brandon Maxwell is a Los Angeles-based dancer, choreographer, filmmaker, and educator. He is a graduate of Chapman University with a BFA in Dance Performance and a BA in Public Relations and Advertising. As a performer, he has had the opportunity to dance for film, television, commercials, music videos, and live stage performances. Some performance credits include the Super Bowl Tillamook Block Jams commercial, Apple, Marvel, Keke Palmer, Based on a True Story, wowashwow’s Times Square Billboard, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Imagine Dragons, Sub Urban, Jordan Fisher, Champs Sporting Goods, CBS, TNT Sports, and more. He is a member of HMG the Company and Ardor Effect. As a choreographer, he has collaborated with fellow artists to create projects that emphasize storytelling and artistry. Some of his recent choreography credits include Club Jete, Choreographer’s Carnival, Daredevil Arts Festival, Hollywood Reporter, World of Dance, Chapman University, VOICES Fest, Reconstruct Exhibition, Contra Coffee + Tea, Chozin, and more. As an educator, he has spread his love of dance to students of all ages at dance studios, schools, charitable organizations, and collegiate universities across the country.

Kobe Johnson
Instructor

Kobe Has been dancing for 19 years. He began his journey dancing self trained but would later be introduced to competitive dance. He had joined his high school dance team at Taft High School, Continuing his journey competing and performing. After High School he would continue his studies and training in dance at Moorpark College. He has choreographed many dances for the dance department as well as becoming vide president of the dance club and student director of the spring semester dance concert production Motion Flux, during his last semester where He Received his AA in Dance. He has continued to take his training in dance to the next level, where he has trained at multiple studios such as Millennium, and Playground learning under Jojo Gomez, and Nicole Kirkland. He will soon be attending California State University Long Beach, where he will be obtaining his Bachelor’s in Dance. He is Currently Coaching at Oak Park High School for JV and assisting in Varsity. He has trained in Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, and West African.

Spencer Seebach
Instructor

Spencer Seebach (he/him) is a Los Angeles-based dance artist and choreographer represented by Go2 Talent Agency. Born in Thousand Oaks, California, Spencer studied at Bobbie’s School of Performing Arts and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Chapman University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and a minor in Business Administration. While at school, he performed works by Paul Taylor and Ido Tadmor, and was awarded the Fannie Kallis Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance (2022), as well as the Nancy Dickson-Lewis Excellence in Choreography Award (2023). Spencer’s commitment to artistic growth extends to prestigious summer programs, including the b12 Summer Festival in Berlin and GagaLab NYC. As a professional, credits include a plethora of live performances, as well as stage and screen productions, working with choreographers such as Liz Imperio, Scotty Nguyen, Lea Ved, Monika Felice Smith, Matthew Peacock, and Darina Littleton. Spencer has also performed with LA-based contemporary dance companies such as the TL Collective, Dyspraxiac Dance, and Au.thenticity Dance Co. While pursuing a career in dance performance, Spencer is simultaneously expanding his influence in both choreographic and arts administration industries.

Crystal Zibalese
Instructor

Crystal Zibalese is a California born dancer, choreographer and educator. She received her BFA in Dance from Chapman University in 2004. Upon graduation, she went on to dance professionally with Backhausdance under the direction of Jennifer Backhaus. She also toured both nationally and internationally while performing with Diavolo Dance Theater under the direction of Jacques Heim. Crystal has a true passion for teaching and choreography. She specializes in contemporary, jazz and modern. Her work has won national dance titles and earned prestigious recognition. Her choreography has been nominated for numerous Industry Dance Awards, including Choreography of the Year. In 2016, her work was selected as a finalist by The McCallum Theater’s annual Choreography Festival and went on to win the grand prize. Her piece “Pathways” was selected as a finalist for the same event in 2022. Crystal also enjoys traveling around the country as a judge for several dance competitions.

Gianna Harrop
Instructor

Gianna is a dancer and choreographer who grew up in Libertyville, Illinois. She initially trained in classical styles like Ballet, Jazz, and Modern. She competed in the Chicago area and performed in the Nutcracker, along with multiple yearly performances. Gianna moved to California in 2017 and began training in Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and Jazz Funk. She trained and competed with Academy of Dance Westlake Village until she graduated High School in 2021. Gianna then attended The American Music and Dramatic Academy for college, where she broadened her training and dance knowledge. Now, she teaches and is a part of Lume Dance Collective, founded by Monika Felice Smith and MaryAnn Chavez. Lastly, Gianna is also a part of The Klein Collective Training program, established by Erica Klein. Gianna is beyond excited to continue teaching at Dance Alliance this season!

Ella Nelson
Instructor

Ella has been dancing at Dance Alliance since the age of 3. She trains and competes in many styles such as contemporary, lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, and acro. Ella is a part of the ELITE team as well as the Newbury Park High School dance team. She has competed and won many different awards at regional and national competitions. Ella has assisted at Dance Alliance for many years and is so excited to be teaching!

Jasmine Duncan
Instructor

Jasmine Duncan started dancing at Ballet Academy Ventura at 4 years old. Under the tutelage of Marina Fliagana and Bretislav Weidlich, she adopted the Vaganova method as a technical foundation. During her training, she attended several summer intensives including Joffrey Ballet Chicago, San Francisco Ballet School, and State Street Ballet and danced a variety of soloist roles for Ventura County Ballet. In 2018, she was honored with the City of Ventura Mayor’s Arts Award for Student Artist and earned the Scholarship Award to the HARID Conservatory through her performance at the California Dance Classics competition. She later attended the University of Southern California, earning her bachelor’s degree in Non-Governmental Organizations and Social Change. Jasmine is dancing as a freelance artist, most recently appearing as a guest performer in The Nutcracker and Cinderella. She is excited to help bring strong classical technique and artistic growth to Dance Alliance students!

Andrew Martinez
Instructor

Born and raised in Camarillo, California, Andrew Martinez began his dance journey in 2022. That same year he earned a spot on his high school’s competitive dance team and took home multiple awards throughout his two seasons. His senior year Andrew stood out as a soloist, earning top 15 soloist placement at all regional competitions. Now attending Ventura College, Andrew has continued to grow as both a dancer and choreographer. He has choreographed for his former high school’s Dance PE class and Ventura College’s Dance Performance class where he was also selected as a student choreographer for their production Culture Series 2: Aspects of the Self. Dedicated to his craft, Andrew plans to continue training in Modern and Ballet at Ventura College this fall to further develop his technique and artistry.

Sofia Velasquez
Instructor

Sofia Velazquez has been dancing for over 17 years and is a proud former student of Dance Alliance. She continued her training at the prestigious CLI Conservatory, where she worked closely with renowned choreographers such as Teddy Forance, Lucy Vallely, Jakevis Thompson, Sienna Lyons, Ashley Cruz, and Aika Doone, among many others. Sofia is proficient in a wide range of styles, including Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip Hop. She is passionate about sharing her love of dance and is excited to bring her experience to the classroom.
